Strawberry Festival Luncheon

The Bras d'Or Seniors Club hosted its annual Strawberry Festival Luncheon on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 66 Main Street in Bras d'Or, Cape Breton. This beloved community fundraiser served up a hearty meal of sandwich plates, fresh strawberry shortcake, and tea or coffee for $15 per person.

Visitors could choose to dine in or grab a meal to go — the luncheon offered take-out for those on the move. The event also featured door prizes and split draws, adding a touch of fun and anticipation to the afternoon. As part of the club's 50th anniversary celebrations, commemorative calendars were available for purchase at $15 each.
